Guy's you have produced a fine scope. I recently purchased
a new Ruger Hawkeye in 7MM-08. I mounted an Ultra RM on the top that I
purchased from one of your dealers, Big Woods Goods, and man what a scope.
I am a long time hunter and shooter. I am a police officer and have
several shooting buddies that are equally impressed with my new scope. The
scope is as clear as any Leupold scope or other scope costing many hundreds or
maybe thousands of dollars more. I too was a little leery of your scope at
first, from just not knowing the name. But again I'm glad I purchased it
and would certainly do it again as well as recommend it. I look forward to
seeing more of your product line as it increases in the future. Again,
thanks for a fine product.

REVIEW - ULTRA RM vs LEUPOLD VX-II
3-9x33 EFR:
I was a bit skeptical and very doubtful as to the
performance of yet another "new" riflescope. I was in for a
big surprise. The Ultra RM is packed in an attractive carton with
lenses covers in place. The finish of this scope is equal to finish
of the Leupold in every way. Both scopes have positive click
adjustments for windage and elevation. Both scopes have 1/4 MOA
adjustments. However, the finger adjustable turrets on the Ultra RM
are a big advantage over the coin slots on the Leupold. Especially
when wearing gloves.
The power selector ring on the Ultra RM is smooth and easier to
adjust than the smaller selector ring of the Leupold. Here again;
especially when wearing gloves. It should be noted here that both
scopes were mounted on CZ 452 Lux stocked rifles utilizing Talley
#22CZRL low rings. While the power selector ring on the Ultra RM is
larger than that found on the Leupold, there was no bolt/scope
interference on either setup. I also found the Ultra RM easier to
focus than the fast focus feature of the Leupold.
The Duplex reticle of the Ultra RM is preferable to the fine duplex
on the Leupold when hunting and caused no problems when target
shooting through the power range. I found the clarity and brightness
of both scopes to be equal, with neither exhibiting any flare or
fading through the power range. Resolution of the Ultra RM is equal
to the Leupold, using the USAF resolution chart.
The AO adjustment ring on the Ultra RM is firm and operates
smoothly. Close focus is listed as 10 yds. on the Ultra RM and 10
meters on the Leupold. I found the Ultra RM to actually focus to 20
feet and the Leupold to focus down to 27 feet. Eye relief range on
the Ultra RM is better to me than the Leupold. Repeatability and
tracking of both scopes was without flaw. These tests were done at a
range of 25 yards in increments from four inches down to one inch.
In summation, I find the Clearidge Ultra RM scope to be the equal of
the Leupold VX-II Rimfire EFR. Given the price difference the
Clearidge product is the better value. You can purchase this one
with confidence. DAVE, Missouri

I bought one of your Ultra RM
3x9 with the fine cross hair and put it on a CZ 22. Sighted it
in yesterday and could not be happier. Excellent clarity,
adjustments were precise and I absolutely love the fine reticle.

DDUUUUUUUDDDDDDDDEEEEEEE, these babies are
awesome! I ran the Ultra XP that I got through the tests and it
pass with an A+. The clicks on the turrets are very
positive. Turning them up and back brought themselves back to
zero very well. you have done a good job on these optics.

I would just
like to commend you on such a fine product. I was turned on to Clearidge Optics
through a hunting forum and initially was concerned about putting my hard earned
cash on a yet unknown optic manufacturer. After adding up the features vs. price
I decided to take the chance. For me it was a big chance too as I was purchasing
2 scopes. I went with the Ultra XP 4.5-14x40. Upon arrival I found the quality
to be much much better then I had imagined! The optics were on par if not better
then several "high end" scopes I have used (Nikon Monarch, Leupold VX-II/VX-III,
etc.) Clear, Bright, Crisp! I have found the settings to be exact and
continuously repeatable with no back lash. Objective , fast focus eye piece, and
magnification adjustments are all smooth and easily adjusted. I know I have been
long winded but I can not express how nice these scopes are for the money spent.
My days of spending more for the popular name is over! Clearidge has filled a
gap for the blue collar worker who wants the absolute best for the money.
